How to Make a Telugu Wedding Invitation Video Online – Step by Step
Updated October 25, 2026 · 3 min read
You don't need a video editor or editing skills to make a beautiful Telugu wedding invitation video. With a ready-made design you just type your details, and the video is made for you. Here's the whole process, step by step.
What to keep ready
- The names of the groom and the bride and of their parents (and grandparents, if you want them in).
- The muhurtham date and time, and the Telugu calendar details from your priest.
- The venue, and the reception or other functions if there are any.
- A few good photos: the groom, the bride and the couple (each design shows how many). iPhone photos work too.
- Optional: a song you'd like in the background.
Not sure what to write? Our pelli patrika wording guide shows the traditional order with samples.
Step 1 – Choose a design
Watch the sample videos and pick the one you like. Each design shows its length, its sizes – landscape for TV and YouTube, portrait for WhatsApp Status – and its price.
Step 2 – Choose the groom's or the bride's side
An invitation is worded by the family that sends it, so the design first asks whether you are inviting from the groom's side or the bride's side.
Step 3 – Type your details in Telugu or English
Fill in the names, parents, muhurtham and venue. Use your phone's Telugu keyboard, or type in English and pick the Telugu spelling from the suggestions. Late elders get “కీ.శే.” with one tick.
Already have a printed card? Upload a photo or PDF of it, and the names, parents, date, time and venue are read and filled in for you – you check everything before it goes in.
Step 4 – Add photos, fonts and music
Upload your photos and crop each one to fit. Choose the Telugu fonts and colours you like. Keep the design's music, or add your own song and choose the part that plays.
On designs with a voice invitation, a Telugu voice can also read your invitation aloud – one of our voices in the slang you like, or a voice made from a recording of your parent.
Step 5 – Watch the free preview
The live preview shows the video with your own names and photos, with a “PREVIEW” watermark. Check every word and every date – especially the muhurtham time – before you pay.
Step 6 – Choose quality and size, pay and share
Choose HD 720p (best for phones and WhatsApp) or Full HD 1080p (best for laptops and TVs), and landscape, portrait or both. Pay with UPI, a card or net banking. The video is usually ready in 2–5 minutes, and you get an email when it is. Then share it on WhatsApp or download the MP4 – see how to send it on WhatsApp.
Found a mistake after paying? Open the video in My invitations and choose Correct and re-render.
Tips for a beautiful video
- Use bright, sharp photos where the faces are clearly visible – not screenshots of photos.
- Keep the names easy to read; add titles like “Dr.” only if the family wants them.
- Get one portrait video for WhatsApp Status and one landscape video for TV – with “both” you get the two in one order, often at a discount.
- Watch the preview once with an elder of the family before you pay.
